Mitra Science assures consistent quality by regularly performing a variety of tests and procedures to ensure the quality of the bulk botanical specimens we offer. In addition to conducting the tests listed on this page, we offer third-party testing services on a contract basis. The following list represents a few of the most important tests we conduct:
Botanical Identification
HPLC (High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography): Provides verification of product identity as well as quantitative determination of active constituents when tested against a reference standard. GCMS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry): Provides verification of product identity as well as quantitative determination of active constituents when tested against a reference standard. TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography): Provides verification of product identity when tested against a reference standard.
Organoleptic
Appearance: Samples of each product are evaluated and compared based upon their general appearance and uniformity, to ensure conformance, to a known standard. Color: Identify products based upon conformance, of color, to a known standard. Aroma: Identify products based upon conformance, of aroma, to a known standard.
Physical Analyses
Particle Size: A sieve analysis is used to measure the total particle size distribution of a prepared sample. A particle size analysis can help a customer judge whether a product is suitable for their application. Tapped Density: Measures the density of a prepared sample (g/ml). This test can help one discern specific processing requirements.
Chemical Analysis
Heavy Metals: Measures metallic impurities in a prepared product sample. Pesticides: Measures the amount of pesticide residue that a prepared sample contains
Microbiological
Total Aerobic Plate Count: Allows for the detection and enumeration of aerobic micro-organisms. This test gives an indication of the cleanliness of a product micro-biologically. Yeast and Mold: Allows for detection and enumeration of yeast and mold micro-organisms. This test gives an indication of the cleanliness of a product micro-biologically. Coliform: Allows for detection and enumeration of Coliform. E. Coli: Allows for detection and enumeration of E. Coli bacteria. Salmonella SPP: Allows for detection and enumeration of Salmonella Bacteria.
Please note that some of the above tests are only performed as needed and not on every item we process. For more information about a particular test or item please contact us.
Not only do we provide some of the best bulk Kratom prices in the industry, but we also copyright the highest quality standards. We utilize a low-heat GMP-approved pasteurization process on all of our Kratom powders to ensure there are no contaminants, producing a pure powder with no alkaloid loss. We lab-test with third-parties in small batches, and utilize a variety of our own tests to ensure quality. We never irradiate our Kratom. You can find out more about our processes on our lab-testing page.
When looking for top wholesale Kratom supplier, it’s important to look at more than just the lowest-priced bulk Kratom, although that is important. We maintain the lowest price point in the industry among GMP Kratom suppliers. It is not uncommon for suppliers to seek out the lowest-cost irradiated kratom possible, ship it over to the US, and pass it off as a high-grade quality product for a quick profit. The cheapest bulk Kratom available is often not even washed, let alone sterilized or lab-tested.
